Keeping your tree fresh is easy! 🌲 Follow these simple tips:
- Cut the stump fresh before setting it up — this helps it absorb water better.
- Keep the stand topped up with water every day. A real tree can drink up to 2 L daily!
- Avoid heat sources like heaters, fireplaces, or direct sunlight.
For extra freshness, use Pursell’s Tree Preservative — it helps your tree absorb water, stay greener, and hold its needles longer while adding a gentle evergreen scent.

Do I need a stand for my Christmas tree?
Yes — a stand with a built-in water reservoir is essential to keep your tree fresh and hydrated all season long.

Can I Replace My Tree If I'm Not Satisfied with Its Appearance?
Once you’ve removed the netting, give your tree 4–6 hours to relax and let the branches fall naturally — they may be slightly compressed from transport.
To help it open up faster, water the tree and wipe away any sap at the base.
If, after it settles, your tree still isn’t what you expected, email our team — we’ll happily arrange an alternative option for you. 🎄
